We, Midnight Reveries, went to Mount Hyjal and attempted it.
First boss, Rage Winterchill, went fine. It went down smoothly with a few deaths here and there.
Second boss, oh gosh. Anetheron was not easy at all. Everyone was dying all over the place, it was just chaotic.The Swarm Charrion[sp?], casted by the boss, was one of the main killers of the raid. A lot of people was being hit for nearly more than half of their HP on one shot. Then comes the infernos which make it so much harder. Chaotic.
Me, on the other hand had quite the huge role. Since I was the only rogue there, I had to use Wound Poison and stack it on the boss. If there was no me, there was practically no way the boss could have been downed. [Not like we even downed the boss though] 1 application cuts out 10% of healing and it can stack up to 5 times, so 50% healing.
What surprised me a lot was that I actually got top DPS for both bosses. I was pretty excited when the charts were announced. When does this ever happen? Never, really.
Just waiting for BT on Monday now. 1 day before 'the great nerf' of the Burning Crusade expansion. Joy. 30% HP off of every BC raid bosses, all the new skills that is to come with Wrath of the Lich King, and huge user's interface update. A big one.
So many people are saying how they don't want to do the easier raids because there is no point anymore, but really, if we don't run them and get ourselves more geared, how are we going to do better in the higher-end raids?

I'm just as lost as you Tinna, but damn, those raids really do sound fun. I really wish you guys played DotA... We could stay as one team and screw up awfully. As for the raids thing, I guess people are less motivated since everything has been nerfed and it wouldn't be the same as fighting it at what it was originally, but you make a good point about the equipment. I mean if they can't even do this raid right they're not going to do well for the later ones, equipment can only help you. Ah well, there's always the expansion to look forward to. Thanks for your posts on forum Solar. Hope all is well for you now, just wish I could get out of these confusing life-altering events.
